Dress Code

Club Day demin jeans, track suits, brief shorts, leggings and leisure suits are unacceptable.  Collared golf shirts & tops may be worn out if desired.

Official Nepean Club dress consists of grey or navy blue tailored trousers/skirt, azure blue polo shirt and blue jumper.  Members are requested to wear the club colours when representing Nepean.

Shoes - with metal spikes are not permitted inside the clubhouse. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Information

Eclectic, Birdies & Gobblers Competitions

Scores for eclectic, birdies and gobblers competitions can only be taken from 18 hole stroke, stableford and par rounds.

Intention to play

Registering your intention to play in the competition is done by entering your name in the competition book and paying the competition fee.   Either of these actions is sufficent to register, but both must be completed before the close of the competition.

Inclement Weather

The options you have upon arrival at the club house are simply to register your intention to play or not.
If you chose not to register for the competition you will not have a card for the day and your handicap will remain unaltered.
If you do register and do not play you will have a card for the month but you will be handicapped as a non approved NCR.
If you do register and the competition is either cancelled or the course closed, you will have a card for the month and your handicap will remain unaltered.

Points to Remember

  • GPS or distance measuring devices are permitted for use during competitions
  • Mobile phones should be switched off or silenced and not be use during competitions, except under exceptional circumstances
  • Members should familiarise themselves with the general and LOCAL rules and also the etiquette of golf
  • All Notices and Golf Link sheets must be read before play
  • The lowest handicap in the group is responsible for the QUICK movement of her group and should be observant of golf etiquette
  • All score cards and eclectic cards must be signed, countersigned and dated
  • Minimum of 8 competitors for all events
  • Competition fee unless otherwise stated shall be $2.00 per player
  • Should you need to cancel please notify the Pro Shop up until 6pm Wednesday [in emergency Thursday morning only - 9592 1899]
  • Players are requested to register with the starters 30 minutes before tee-off time
  • Sand buckets are compulsory and all divots must be filled
  • Members are to play off BLUE PERMANENT MARKERS (tombstones) only on club Medal days and the Blue Blocks at all other times
